6 Living on Tulsa Time

6 stair stepped siblings all in a row

5 sisters and 1 brother in tow

4 resemble their dad 2 capture their mom

3 are impulsive 3 reserved and calm

2 love to write 4 love to read

1 married young,  5 more followed her lead

Dear Mom

Dear Mom,

I’m finally becoming the woman you always knew I could be. I miss you more and more each day.

Love Big

Keep close the hearts that are open wide

Grasp the hands that embrace your side

Strong arms that help you reach for the sky

Magical souls who are constantly on standby

Cuddle the laughs that last all night

Cherish the homes opening with an invite

Hold close those who always make you smile

Love them all we are only here for a little while

Carisa Adrienne

I love this song. I don’t understand a word of it but it’s stunning. It’s an amazing video too. He traveled to 42 countries to show love resides everywhere.

The song is from a noble peace prize winning poem.   Enjoy 🙂

Sensing You

giphy (8)

Winter, tasting snowflakes fall upon my face

Summer, watching the sun’s wonder and its grace

Spring, smelling the red sweet rose in the breeze

Fall, hearing the swaying of falling leaves

Touching Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall

You are my constant love throughout it all

Never lose grasp of the ribbon of rope

That carries the balloon of hope  ❤️

 Dead Sea

My lips harbor vitality capturing your ships soul

Rescuing you from despair of the treacherous black hole

Eyes withering without glistening glow

Drifting with speed with no place to go

Stroking your vessel with vibrant pastels

Hundreds of pennies with wishing wells

Waking your sails bringing them alive

Your broken compass begins to thrive

Anchoring against constant waves of the ocean

Navigating your travels toward the beacon of emotion

Sailing ashore with ease surpassing me

Leaving me capsized stranded in the

Dead Sea

Old school love

Gimme that old school love

The kind I love to write of

True innocence of this girl

As pure as the rarest pearl

Genuine passion of the boy

Grinning, classic being coy

So gimme that old school love

The kind where I smile just thinking of

-Carisa Adrienne

Just a little poem I couldn’t get out of my head today ❤️
