Sometimes Silver Linings are Blue

Sorry Not Sorry

Blow

giphy (25)

Impress me with your words, not your hands

Set me on fire with your exciting plans

Blindfold me, let your voice be what I desire

Let me respond to all you require

Hands behind your back start to convey

Negotiating your wants, listening to all you say

Clean dirty, side to side, up or down

Sacrifice it to me with only your sound

If you can give it, I can take it

Pushing it all, let me shake it

Filling me up with your last request

Revealing your passion through all you’ve expressed

Bend my emotions, thoughts to grind

Lips moving, heart singing, blowing my mind

“We Don’t Have To Take Our Clothes Off”

Not a word, from your lips
You just took for granted that I want to skinny dip
A quick hit, that’s your game
But I’m not a piece of meat, simulate my brain, no

The night is young, so are we
Let’s just get to know each other slow & easily, oh, oh
Take my hand, let’s hit the floor
Shake our bodies to the music
Maybe then you’ll score, oh, oh

So come on baby, won’t you show some class
Why’d you have to move so fast?

We don’t have to take our clothes off
To have a good time, oh, no
We could dance & party all night
And drink some cherry wine, oh, oh

Just slow down if you want me
A man wants to be approached cool & romantically, oh, oh
I’ve got needs just like you
And if the conversation’s good
Vibrations through & through, oh, oh

So come on baby, won’t you show some class
Why’d you have to move so fast?

[4x:]
We don’t have to take our clothes off
To have a good time, oh, oh
We could dance & party all night
And drink some cherry wine, oh, oh

  3. You’ve impressed me with these words and set me on fire! 💗💗 Sometimes the intellectual are as stimulating as the physical. Perfection is both.

  4. Great way to start a Monday. I listened to this song the other day like five times (while working out). Love her voice and her latest is one of the best! Happy Monday Carisa 🙂

      • I’m kind but honest… we all need to be kind to each other. But I like you’re work, I’ve been toying with following you for some time. I’m glad I finally did Carisa 😊

        • Haha!! Did I scare you a bit to make you hesitant! Ha! : ). I love honesty… We all are different people and have different thoughts! Always tell me like it is : D
          Glad you’re following me too : )

        • Maybe you did… not sure. I find women scary at the best of times, especially if they’re awesome, beautiful and that kind of thing. 😉
Im more delicate than tell it like it is. Everyone has battles and you never know what people are going through. So always try and be kind.
Have you looked up my blog yet? Any thoughts on it?

  20. I LOVE your take on life. The lucky folks who pass your way …

    Atlanta

    Buckhead offers twelve-dollar sandwiches,
Parents lunching their children on Saturday:
Straight from Beemer to deli to Emory to evening
Wedding to Benz to kids at lunch on Peachtree.

North Peachtree, where you can’t quite see the smog
Thanks to trees and art and tacky bars. Southern
Culture on the skids, but not outside this deli, where
Leaves tumble with Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda cans.

All I can think of is you: hamburgers and organic
Bananas, juices, never soda, and a complete
Satisfaction. Money doesn’t earn these deli-dippers
The satisfaction you have. Inner peace even.

You cook after volunteering, after the kids are
Down for the night. You go there and back then home
To ride your bike to work. Teach me how to calm
Myself won’t you? One point at five points:

There is no chemistry to teach the zen you have.
Perfect weather makes yellow leaves stand out.
Small winds coerce more travel. Sharp shadows
Waver. One beacon lures me home to paint autumn.
