Sometimes Silver Linings are Blue

Sorry Not Sorry

Rx for Life

Doctors, books, and graphs don’t always see

Heart, mind, and blood are a part of me

My body may be broken, but I’ve got a plan

Don’t tell me I can’t because I know I can

My heart is pumping so get out my way

My mind conquering come what may

Tell me my odds and what they’re

So I can start moving and knocking them out
Get ready for miracles for all to see

Maybe you should be studying me

Carisa Adrienne

Muhammad Ali is the greatest motivational poet. Oh my, how he can make me laugh too.

This quote always makes my heart start pumping, “I’m a show you how great I am.”

Muhammad Ali repeated over and over how great he was. He convinced himself and the world he truly was.

  3. He truly has a very convincing way. He knew exactly how to use his thoughts for his benefit. That is the secret of all successful people. They believe in something and don’t let anyone tell them any different. That is also the way we can get rid of our own home made prison of self doubts. We are amazing, aren’t we?

    • So true! I repeat words over and over everyday making myself believe them. We have to believe in ourselves before anyone else will. : )

      • That is exactly it! By whatever we were programmed over the years in a self-destructive way through repeating negative thoughts, we can reprogram us in reapeating supportive and actually TRUE thoughts about us. As you say we need to believe in ourselves first, or no one will! Love that power in your comments and posts 🙂

I love the post, Carisa. I have an autographed photo of Ali standing over Liston in my house. Your post reminds me of this Ali quote:

I know where I’m going and I know the truth,
and I don’t have to be what you want me to be.
I’m free to be what I want.

Correction! The greatness of your poetic talent was not carved in a gym, but constructed from the talent, thoughts and experiences with a blend of emotional feelings!
    Do I go on?
Of course I do, but it is true!
    I liked reading this.
